Jacob Uittenbogaard

Jacob Uittenbogaard, Chief Financial Officer — Mr. Uittenbogaard most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of R.J. Reynolds International Inc., where he was responsible for the finance, planning and manufacturing functions of the $4 billion multi-national corporation.  He joined RJRI in The Netherlands in 1973 as Chief Financial Officer for the Dutch operation, and moved to Geneva, Switzerland in early 1980 as Controller for RJRI's Europe, Middle East and Africa businesses.  He moved to the United States in 1983 as Group Director of Finance, where he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer for the worldwide operations in 1987.  Mr. Uittenbogaard retired from RJRI in December 2000.
