Carl-Gustaf Johansson

Carl-Gustaf Johansson, Director — Mr. Johansson served as CEO of Astra Zeneca United States and Executive Vice President of global Astra Zeneca plc between 1999 and 2001, after which time he retired after 38 years with the company.  He served as CEO of Astra US between 1998 and 1999.  Mr. Johansson was Head of Corporate Marketing, Strategy and Business Development and had regional responsibility for Southern and Central Europe between 1996 and 1998.  Between 1989 and 1996 he was Regional Marketing Director Southern Europe located in France.  Between 1963 and 1989 Mr. Johansson served in various positions within the Astra organization, including President Astra Draco, Lund, Sweden, President of Astra do Brazil and Head, Budget and Planning of Astra AB.
